Welcome to the Age of Dragons
The year is 2500.
Humanity has begun leaving Earth behind, traveling to the many moons orbiting Jupiter to terraform and establish new settlements. What begin as ports eventually become thriving cities, creating new worlds far beyond Earth.
A century later, humans encounter other races throughout the galaxies, including the elves.
And the elves bring something unexpected with them: a dying race of dragons.
Humanity manages to save the dragons by transforming them into something entirely new: cyborganic ships.
Part living creature, part advanced technology, these dragons become an integral part of a rapidly changing galaxy. But humanity's expansion doesn't stop there.
By the year 3625, a biotechnology company called GwenSeven has developed a way to manufacture humans with artificial intelligence. These new beings, known as Chimera, begin to unite and eventually rebel.
Meanwhile, the smaller moons surrounding Jupiter have become something else entirely.
They're outposts. Mining colonies. Government bases. Corporate facilities. Places for experimentation, hiding, and survival.
Many are government-sponsored colonies for people who have nowhere else to go. The people living there are often considered expendable.
And this is where Amberle's story begins.
Meet Amberle
Amberle is approaching the end of her teenage years and starting her first real job. It should be the beginning of adulthood. Instead, she finds herself on a moon filled with the dying, the dead, and the undead. She's facing loneliness, danger, uncertainty, and a series of challenges that seem to become more difficult at every turn. And she's growing up. Not just physically, but emotionally.
Amberle has to confront fear and responsibility while navigating a world that doesn't necessarily give her the answers she's looking for. Growing up is about learning how to face reality. And realizing that reality is what you make it.

Amberle: Character & Inspiration
There's one more reason Amberle's story holds a particularly special place for me. Amberle is also my daughter's name. She was the inspiration and muse behind this storyline, which makes writing her journey incredibly personal.
While the character and her world belong entirely to the GwenSeven universe, the name itself carries a very real connection to my own life. And perhaps that's part of why a story about a young woman trying to find herself feels so meaningful.
Growing up is complicated.
Finding yourself is even harder.
But watching someone discover her own strength and realize that she gets to decide what comes next, is a story worth telling.
