That was truly an unforgettable weekend at Emerald City Comic Con 2026!

This past weekend I had the chance to meet readers, sign books, and share the GwenSeven universe with fans from all over at the Seattle Convention Center. And it's one for the books!

For anyone who hasn’t experienced it, Emerald City Comic Con is one of the largest pop-culture conventions in the Pacific Northwest. Each year the event brings together tens of thousands of fans of comics, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, film, and cosplay. The energy on the convention floor was incredible all weekend, with ticket holders selling out Saturday and Sunday close behind.

A Sold-Out Booth on the Exhibitor Floor

I’m still blown away by the response from readers. By the end of the convention, every single book we brought with us had sold out.

In total, we sold 148 books, including:

  • 5 full sets of the GwenSeven Series (nine books each)

  • 30 trilogies (first three books)

  • 13 single copies of Drawing the Dragon

Watching readers discover the series for the first time and seeing so many people decide to dive all the way into the sagawas truly one of the highlights of the weekend.

Thank You for Joining the GwenSeven Saga

One of the best parts of ECCC 2026 was getting to meet so many readers in person. To everyone who stopped by Booth 10545, chatted about sci-fi and fantasy, picked up a book, or started their journey into the GwenSeven universe: thank you. Meeting the community that loves stories as much as I do is why conventions like this are so special.

A Thank You to Emerald City Comic Con

I also want to give a big thank you to the team behind Emerald City Comic Con for creating such an amazing event for fans and creators. The team and I love coming back to Seattle for this event.

The convention continues to be one of the best places in the country for readers and fans of science fiction and fantasy to connect with authors and discover new stories. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be part of it this year, and I can’t wait to come back in 2027.

Seattle, you were incredible. So was the coffee!

Next Stop: WonderCon

The convention season continues!

In just two weeks the team and I will be heading to WonderCon Anaheim 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and I’m excited to meet even more readers and introduce new fans to the GwenSeven universe. If you’re attending WonderCon, I hope you’ll stop by the booth, say hello, and start your journey into the saga.

Until then, thank you again to everyone who made ECCC 2026 such an unforgettable weekend.
