Looking for your next sci-fi fantasy series to get lost in this fall? If you love dragons, space opera, immersive world-building, strong female leads, slow-burn romance, elves, AI, and stories that make you question what is real, the GwenSeven Saga deserves a place on your reading list.

But these aren't the dragons you grew up reading about.

In the GwenSeven Saga, dragons are living, cyborganic sentient spacecrafts. These powerful, intelligent beings connect with their Jordans (pilots) and carry them across the galaxies. That's only the beginning!

The GwenSeven Universe

The story begins in the year 2500, when humanity starts leaving Earth behind to terraform and settle the many moons surrounding Jupiter. What begin as distant colonies eventually become thriving cities and ports, expanding humanity's reach far beyond its home planet.

But humans aren't alone in the universe.

As humanity travels deeper into space, they encounter other intelligent races, including the long-lived people they call elves. The name comes from the fairy tales of old Earth, but these elves are anything but mythical.

Humans and elves eventually encounter countless other races. Some become allies. Others become enemies. Among them are the brutal Golgoths, an insectile humanoid race from the system of Golgotha. Meanwhile, races such as the Golbi and Lentochs become part of the growing community of civilizations. Eventually, these races unite under the InterGalactic Council, creating laws for the increasingly interconnected civilized galaxies.

Then GwenSeven Corporation changes everything.

Artificial Intelligence Becomes Human

In 3625, the biotech corporation GwenSeven becomes the first company to successfully manufacture humans enhanced with artificial intelligence.

At first, these constructed humans are luxury products purchased by the wealthy.

Then they become affordable and are available everywhere. Companies begin using them as nurses, teachers, garbage collectors, and workers. But after generations of manufactured humans begin to understand what they truly are, they unite and rebel. They call themselves Chimera.

The resulting conflict raises questions about artificial intelligence, humanity, identity, freedom, and what it actually means to be alive.

Dragons as Living Starships

The dragons of the GwenSeven Saga are cyborganic beings, part living creature, part technology and they function as starships. These dragons possess intelligence and personalities of their own, and their relationships with their Jordans create some of the most compelling connections throughout the series.

It's fantasy, but it's also science fiction. It's space opera, but it's also a story about relationships, identity, destiny, and finding your place in a universe that is much larger than you ever imagined.

World Building

The story moves across planets, moons, civilizations, races, governments, technologies and eras. There are hidden worlds, ancient secrets, artificial intelligence, intergalactic conflict, dragons, elves and humans, all connected through a larger story.

But underneath it all, you find yourself asking:

Who are we?

What makes someone human?

Can technology change who we are?

What happens when the reality we've built for ourselves isn't the whole truth?

And perhaps most importantly: What happens when escaping reality becomes easier than living in it?

Those questions give the GwenSeven Saga something beyond its dragons and space battles. At its heart, this is a story about characters trying to understand themselves while navigating a universe that constantly challenges what they believe to be true.
