Two Bookstores, One Homecoming: Sci-Fi Fantasy Author's Upcoming Events in San Diego and San Dimas

One of my favorite parts of being an author is connecting with readers in person, and this July I have the opportunity to do exactly that at two upcoming author events in Southern California.

As a San Diego native, I couldn't be more excited to return home and spend an afternoon with readers at Barnes & Noble Carmel Mountain Ranch. Bookstores have always been a source of inspiration for me, and it's especially meaningful to visit a Barnes & Noble location in the city that I'll always call home.

If you're looking for your next summer read, both events are a great opportunity to discover The GwenSeven Saga, my completed nine-book sci-fi fantasy series featuring dragons, sentient AI, humans, elves, expansive world-building, space opera adventure, and a touch of romance.

I'm also incredibly excited to visit Judging by the Cover in San Dimas. Not only will it be my first time visiting the store, but I'm honored that they now carry the complete GwenSeven Saga. Indie bookstores have become an increasingly important part of the literary community, helping readers discover new voices while creating welcoming spaces for authors and book lovers alike.

Indie bookstores have experienced remarkable growth in recent years. According to the American Booksellers Association, the number of indie bookstores has steadily increased as readers continue to seek out must read recommendations included indie authors' collections, community experiences like book clubs and live author events, and opportunities to support small indie booksellers. As an indie author, I'm grateful to see The GwenSeven Saga become a small part of that movement!
